Hump Day Ramblings......

Don't know her name....don't know who she is.....but....what a hump.

Anyway....it's another Wednesday ...at least in our hemisphere, and with every hump day, we have our mid-week ramblings...

Seems former Georgia running back extraordinaire Herschel Walker wants a piece of South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier. In Terence Moore's AJC column this morning , Mr. Moore sheds light on an interview he had with Herschel and the response of the remark made by Spurrier in regards to the Bulldog now famous team mass celebration against the Florida Gators 2 weeks ago. Spurrier said he would have sent one of his third stringers into that Dog pile to create a fight. As a result, Spurrier said the Gators would have prospered in the long run since the SEC would have delivered a slew of suspensions to Georgia players.

Walkers' reply :

"Well, you know, is that not insulting? That's totally insulting for a coach of his stature to say something so stupid. So my question I say to him is, if he's got that much guts, why don't he step in a ring against me? You don't say something that silly, because you're going to get somebody hurt. Georgia was punished, because that's a penalty. They didn't go out to hurt anyone. [Spurrier] talks about hurting somebody. How much guts do you have? Step in a ring with me, and then we'll see."

Gentlemen.....can we all just get along?

Today .....November 14th.....it was 77 degrees here in the metro Atlanta area....we have had no rain this month....the drought continues. Now we have been invaded and plagued by ladybugs......they're here in the thousands.....just swarming around....supposedly it is bad luck to kill a ladybug...but these things are sure a heck of a nuisance.

Biggest turn off for me this time of year? College football bowl predictions......who cares what you... or ESPN.... or any of the pundits think? Why can't we all just sit back and wait? Who needs all the speculation.

And......finally....I'm getting just a little bit tired of these gas prices....They are just over $3.00 per gallon here......and there is no election slated for at least 12 months .....so who knows how high they may go.
